The Big Crow: How to revise the funding structure of kickstarter

I have determined how to revise the funding structure (of kickstarter). Once a project reaches its funding goal, the money is transferred to an escrow account that keeps a history of fund use for both the authors and the backers. These funds would be doled in isntallments out on a milestone basis. If a project is overfunded, the surplus is rewarded to the authors only upon completion of product delivery to the backers. This prevents massively overfunded projects from simply taking the huge jackpot and disappearing. If a project fails to deliver, the money still in escrow can be unwound through the backer funding trail such that each backer is refunded a percentage of what they donated.
